Roberts and Copher

Mr. and Mrs. Keith L. Roberts, of Leawood, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Roberts, of Bonner Springs, to Clay Copher, son of Bob Copher, Bonner Springs, and Shawnna Gelatka, Shawnee.
A June 26 wedding is planned at the Church of Resurrection in Leawood.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Bonner Springs High School and a 2008 graduate of Kansas City Kansas Community College.
The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Mill Valley High School and is studying fire science at Kansas City Kansas Community College. He is currently employed with Built to Fit in Bonner Springs and is a volunteer fireman for the Bonner Springs Fire Department.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Edward A. Roberts, the late Edward A. Roberts, Bonner Springs, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth L. Linck, Salina.
Grandparents of the groom are Carol Copher, Shawnee, Robert Copher, Parkton, N.C., the late Oriet Sheriff, and Mr. and Mrs. John Sheriff, Overland Park.

Anniversary

Scheibe

Dave and Pat (Soptick) Scheibe will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 21, with a Mass at Holy Angels Church in Basehor followed by a buffet and dance hosted by their children at Holy Angels Hall.
They were married June 21, 1958, at St Joseph Catholic Church, Kansas City, Kan.
The couple have five children: Denise Gray, Colleen (Keith) Charlton, both of Kansas City, Kan., Wayne (Roxanne) Scheibe, Novato, Calif., Theresa Lacer, Collins, Mo., and Kathleen Robison, Riverside, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
