The Bonner Springs Senior Center will have an open house in honor of longtime member and Bonner resident Reba Shaw June 1.
Shaw, who had been a member of the senior center since its inception 25 years ago, will be moving to Puyallup, Wash., to be near her daughter. The open house is set for 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the center, 200 E. Third St. Members of the community are invited to stop in to share memories with Shaw, and donuts, coffee, tea and juice will be served.
