Sacred Heart Catholic Church’s annual series of Lenten Fish Fries starts Friday, Feb. 24.
A buffet will be served from 5-7:30 p.m. every Friday through March 30 in the Multipurpose Center, which is in the school building of the church, 5501 Monticello Road.
The cost is $7 for seniors 65 and older, $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 4 through 12 and free for children 3 and younger.
On the menu is fried catfish, smoked salmon, broiled tilapia, fried shrimp, macaroni and cheese, Irish potatoes, fries, green beans, slaw, dinners rolls, desserts, beverages and hot cross buns. Cheese pizza is $1 per slice.
The Knights of Columbus sponsor the fish fries, with proceeds benefiting the parish. Meals are open to the public.
