BSHS to present classic comedy
Bonner Springs High School students are gearing up for their fall musical production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
The cast will host three performances of the romantic comedy written by Frank Loesser beginning at 7:30 p.m., Thurs., Nov. 9.
The Thursday production will include a dinner to be served between 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
The dinner and show will cost $5 each and tickets will be available at the door. Students in middle school or younger can purchase show tickets for $3.
The Friday and Saturday shows will also begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission prices will remain $5 each night and tickets will be available at the door.
According to Musical Director, Steve Strom, audience members can expect a fun night of comedy.
There should be a lot of laughing, he said. There are a lot of funny lines in the play.
Director Brandon Williams said the large cast has been working hard to prepare for the performances.
We have about 40 in the cast, from freshmen to seniors, he said. Its definitely a good cast. It should be a good show.
