Jason and Clara Bledsoe announce the birth of their son, William Allen, Nov. 13, 2000.
William was born weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long.
His maternal grandmothers are Karen Howard, Tonganoxie and Sandi Sybrant, Basehor. His great-great-grandmother is Faye Ledbetter of Bonner Springs.
His paternal grandparents are Lloyd and Joyce Bledsoe, Oskaloosa and Barbara Devourax, Valley Falls. His great-grandmother is Frances Bright, Oskaloosa.
William was welcomed home by his older brother, Joseph Michael Bledsoe.
Anderson
Ted and Tracy Anderson, Valley Center, announce the birth of their daughter,
Jacy May Anderson was born Nov. 22, 2000. She weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Jim and Sandy Trowbridge, Basehor. Maternal great-grandparents are Raymond and Blanch Lowe, Basehor, Walter Trowbridge and the late Marjorie Trowbridge, Kansas City.
Paternal grandparents are Chris and Marilyn Anderson, Basehor. Paternal great-grandparents are John Bondurant, the late Amelia Bondurant, Bartlesville, Okla. and the late S.E. and Dorothy Anderson.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
