Services for Marsha Hoelting, 59, Basehor, were Aug. 14 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor. Burial followed in Holy Angels Cemetery, Basehor.

Mrs. Hoelting died Friday, Aug. 10, at her home.

Marsha was born May 28, 1942 in Wichita, and was a 1960 graduate of St. Joseph High School, Shawnee. She married Albert Hoelting in 1961, and after raising six children, worked at KU Medical Center as an Administrator for 13 years. She was an avid quilter and collector.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Wanda Long, and her mother-in-law, Alice Hoelting.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Hoelting, Basehor; five sons, Albert Hoelting Jr., Shawnee, Geoffrey Hoelting and Scott Hoelting, both of Kansas City, Kan., John Hoelting, Gardner, and Nicholas Hoelting, Basehor; one daughter, Paula Merrill, Shawnee; her birth mother, Grace Lundry, Hutchinson, Kan.; one sister, Conni Burie, Calif.; one brother, Mark Lundry, Hutchinson; and eight grandchildren.
