City band to play 4th concert tonight

The Bonner Springs City Band's fourth concert of the year will be at 8:30 p.m. today at Kelly Murphy Park, Second and Elm streets.
Preceding the concert at 8 p.m. the First Christian Church of Bonner Springs will play host to an ice cream social.
The concert's set list is as follows:
"The Star Spangled Banner"
"Under the Double Eagle," by Frederick Fennell
"Let the Spirit Soar," by James Swearingen
"Valley Forge," by Karl L. King
"Awakened Like the Morn," by Robert Sheldon
"Main Street Celebration," by Steven Reineke
"Air for Band," by Frank Erickson
"The British Eighth," by Zo Elliot
"And All That Jazz," by John Higgins
"Across the Wide Missouri," by Claude T. Smith
The Bonner Springs High School cafeteria, 100 McDanield St., will be the concert site in case of rain.
The band rehearses at the high school band room beginning at 7 p.m. Musicians can join the band by attending the rehearsal and then the concert.
Band concerts are every Thursday through July 31, with one last concert Aug. 22.
