Folks, you ought to ride by Nettleton Manor on East Kump Street and see our beautiful flowers that are blooming. One of our tenants, Elizabeth Hatfield, is the lady who keeps these flowers so beautiful and we really thank her. Otherwise, it would look so dull and she does such a wonderful job.
Birthdays for May and June were: Sylvia Canady, Lucille Watkins, Dorothy Griffiths, Norma Rose, Shirley Zarino, Irene Lowe, Helen Rihard, Sylvia Morris, Beulah Boyd, Shirley Stone, Edna Donaldson and Reba Shaw.
Flowers and a birthday card were delivered to each one by Sylvia Canady and Margie Dziadura.
Ministers who had services for us at Nettleton Manor for May and June were:
¢ The Rev. John Rink, with guests Jane Rink, Lori, a student from Brazil, and Georgia Jenkins played piano. It was great to see Georgia back again and she was feeling better.
Ann Taylor gave a message and played piano.
¢ The Rev. Jim Jenkins, with guests Eva, Ethan, John and Peter Jenkins. We had memorial services and Ethan sang "The Star-Spangled Banner." Peter sang solo and played piano, and Rev. Jim had a message on memorials for all veterans and John closed services with "Taps." This was really nice.
Ministers for the rest of the month were the Rev. Mark Meinke, the Rev. Jim Braley, the Rev. S.D. Seaba and the Rev. Mike Vernon.
