Sandstone announces first show

Sandstone Amphitheater announced this week its first concert under new ownership and management of New West Productions.
Jack Johnson will appear as part of his "Sleep Through The Static" World Tour, produced in conjunction with Live Nation. Tickets for the Aug. 15 show are $35 for general admission and will go on sale March 15 at Ticketmaster outlets.
The Sandstone Amphitheater concert will be part of a 23-city U.S. leg of his world tour and will feature as opening performers Rogue Wave and Neil Halsted.
The first concert announcement conforms to New West's announcement in January that it would work to appeal musically to the 18-35 year-old demographic.
Work at the venue is ongoing, including the removal of 18 rows of about 5,000 seats, to enlarge the general-admission section, bringing the total capacity of the amphitheater to 18,000.

“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
