Braves take second at state track meet

The Bonner Springs boys track team poses with its second-place trophy at the Class 5A state track meet.
Bolstered by a slew of individual state championships from twin brothers Jeremy and Jonathan Walker, as well as a state record-setting performance in the 400-meter relay by the Walker brothers, Ian Briggs and L.T. Lee, the Bonner Springs boys track team placed second at the Class 5A state meet.
Jonathan Walker won the 200 and the 110 hurdles and was fourth in the triple jump. Jeremy Walker won the 100 and the long jump and was second in the 110 hurdles.
James Carter finished third in the 800.
