Macy was born Oct. 9, 2008, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Merriam, and weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces.
Her sister, Shelby Lynn, 2, welcomed Macy home.

Paging through an old Bonner Springs High School yearbook, an outline of the young man’s achievements took shape, and while he was an outstanding student he was probably more known for his athletic achievements.
