Motorcyclist dies from Sept. 22 crash injuries

Jarrett Lane, 44, Bonner Springs, died Sept. 29 from injuries he sustained a week before when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a car.

Lane had been traveling westbound on Kansas Highway 32 when he was hit Sept. 22 by a 1993 Honda sedan turning onto K-32 from the northbound Kansas Highway 7 exit ramp. He wasn’t wearing a helmet.

Lane was taken to Kansas University Medical Center, where he died. His friend, Patty Donnelly Adams, said doctors told her Lane had never recovered from his serious head injuries.
