United Way to host campaign kickoff

The United Way of Wyandotte County will host its luncheon beginning 11:30 a.m. today, Sept. 4, at the UAW Local 31 Union Hall, 500 Kindelberger Rd. The luncheon will kick off the the organization's annual campaign. United Way staff, volunteers, campaign participants and a children's cereal mascot will host festivities, discuss the upcoming campaign, reveal this year's goal and launch the fundraiser. Tickets cost $20 per person.

Lunch will be served and the event is scheduled to conclude at 1 p.m.
