Library schedules new fall programs

The Bonner Springs Public Library has a new schedule of fall programs.
Toddler Storytime is 10-10:30 a.m. each Tuesday and Wednesday, and Preschool Storytime is 11-11:30 a.m. each Tuesday and Wednesday.
"Fun Fridays" will feature different events each week for children and families.
From 11-11:30 a.m. Sept. 19 and Oct. 10 Pat Crim from the Kansas StateUniversity Extension Office will give "Book and Cook" presentations for kids ages 3-5 on how to prepare simple snacks, and 11-11:30 a.m. Nov. 7 there will be a "Pink Princess Party" for ages 3-5 with author Mary Ann Demeritt reading her children's book. Juice and cupcakes will be served and kids will make their own crowns and wands.
"How To Grow a Story" 6:30-7:30 p.m., is meant for the whole family, and will feature Kansas authors Tom Dunn and Jancy Morgan discussing their book about a tree in Olathe that has been around since before white people came to Kansas.
And 11-11:30 a.m., Dec. 2, children's music performer "Funky Mama" will sing and play her guitar for preschoolers.
