Club to host pancake feed

The Lansing Lions Club is presenting an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Lansing Community Center located in Lansing City Hall. The fundraiser is catered by Chris Cakes of Louisburg.
A $6 donation is requested for the pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee and tea breakfast. Funds raised will be used for Lions Club activities. Contact Terri Brittingham for more information at (913) 547-2555.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
