Joint PTOs to host carnival

The Parent Teacher Organizations of Bonner Springs Elementary, Delaware Ridge Elementary and Edwardsville Elementary Schools of USD 204 are announcing their “Student Hoopla!” carnival. The PTO’s are producing the carnival together in lieu of separate school carnivals. The event will be held at the USD 204 District PE Building in Bonner Springs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on May 9th, and will offer students and their families entertainment with games, air-brush tattoos, candy art and food. Wristbands for student admittance will be pre-sold through the schools for $10 each until May 1; wrist bands at the door will be $12. Parent admission and every fourth wristband are free. The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
