First City Festival introduces 5K race

A celebration of Leavenworth’s historic firsts wouldn’t be complete without a first of it’s own: a 5K race. The First City Festival will include such an event for the first time on Saturday, Sept. 12, with the 5K Run to the River.
Clark Middle School football to begin Aug. 17

The Clark Middle School football team will begin fall practice from 3-5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17. Seventh-grade players should report to the CMS gymnasium. Eighth-grade players should meet in the high school football locker room. Players need to have their physicals with them.
