Dub’s Dread announces annual golf tourney

The second annual Gold Dust Two-Ball Championship will be Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 15-16, at Dub’s Dread Golf Club.
The two-person event using a Quota system of scoring is open to anyone with a GHIN handicap. Limited to the first 100 persons registering, the tournament will have two divisions. Registration will begin at noon Saturday with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
First place in each division will pay $400 in gift certificates per team with $250 for second, $150 for third, $125 for fourth and $75 for fifth. Payouts are based on 50 players and will be higher with a full field of 100. The entry fee is $120 per player and includes prizes, green fees, carts and lunch for both days.
