Lei Valley honors milestone with open-house event

Area residents and prospective homeowners are invited to attend an open house celebrating the third-year anniversary of the Lei Valley Subdivision at 137th and Kansas Avenue and the completion of the clubhouse and pool.
During the event, visitors may tour the new facilities and any of the open houses. Refreshments will be provided.
The open house will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the new clubhouse, 13700 Berger.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
