Chamber president speaks at Kiwanis Club meeting

Marcia Ashford, president of the Bonner Springs-Edwardsville Chamber of Commerce, was the speaker at the regular meeting of the Edwardsville Kiwanis Club last week at Sister’s Restaurant.

She discussed goals for the chamber for the coming year, including plans to increase membership and services.

Tickets remain on sale for the Kiwanis Club pancake breakfast, which will be from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at the Bonner Springs High School cafeteria. Tickets are $5 each, with all proceeds going to the Kiwanis scholarship program.
