Adult volleyball league registration

The Bonner Springs Parks and Recreation Department’s Spring Adult Co-Rec Volleyball League is now accepting registrations.
This is a 6-on-6 recreational league offered to men and women age 16 and older. Teams consist of three men and three women. Games begin Tuesday, Feb. 3 and will take place at 7 p.m. every Tuesday. There is an eight-game guarantee with a single-elimination tournament at the end of the season.
It is a call-your-own-game, keep-your-own-score league that is just for fun. The cost is $80 per team. Deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 23.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
