Gardner beats BSHS JV girls

The Bonner Springs junior varsity girls basketball team was drubbed by Gardner-Edgerton, 63-34, on Monday.
Gardner led 18-6 after the first quarter and held a 32-17 advantage at halftime.
The Bravettes struggled to build momentum on offense at any point throughout the game, but they played their best basketball during the third quarter when they mustered a brief rally.
Emily Wilson led BSHS with 14 points, Erica Wilson had 8, Alexis Clark scored 5, Kaliegh Crider had 3, and Mayrissa Peterson and Irene Crump each chipped in 2.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
