Ag Hall presents informal discussion on ethanol

The National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame will present “Ask the Expert” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at the Ag Hall of Fame.
The discussion topic will be ethanol, and featured speakers will be Steve Gardner, of East Kansas Agri-Energy, and Scott Zaremba, of Earth Friendly Fuels. Admission price is $7 for adults and $3 for children and youth ages 5 to 16.
“Ask the Expert” is an informal discussion designed to permit people to ask questions and deepen their understanding of a given topic. The program is designed for anyone who is curious about a topic and wants to have an opportunity to learn from individuals who work with the topic on a daily basis.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
