Booster Club thanks

To the editor:
The Bonner Springs High School Booster Club would like to thank the community in supporting the high school athletes. We had our First Chris Cakes/Silent Auction on Feb. 20, and thanks to community support it was a success.
We thank the numerous businesses that donated and the families that came out to eat and bid.
I would like to thank Laurie Steuart for her hard work with the Silent Auction and Nancy Sullivan for organizing the entertainment for the evening. Various Booster Club members donated their time and effort to make the evening a success.
Again thank you for supporting our student/athletes.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
