Forum to target obesity

Kansas City Metro youths, ages 10–17, are being asked to gather for a Youth Hosted Forum to discuss the childhood obesity epidemic, the challenges youths face and how to begin finding solutions to effect change in their communities.
The forum will be from 1-5 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Southeast Community Center, 4201 N.W. 63rd St., Kansas City, Mo. Participants will be involved in both large and small group discussions.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
