CMS edges Mill Creek
October 28, 2009
The Clark Middle School eighth-grade football team closed out its season with a nail-biter victory over Mill Creek, winning 16-8.
Windy weather limited the Panthers’ passing ability, but they used their rushing attack effectively as five different running backs had more than 20 yards. Jordan Jackson and Austin Schuler each rushed for a team-high 46 yards.
Schuler rushed for a touchdown in the victory, and Jackson threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Corey Williams.
Les Wessel led CMS with five solo tackles and a fumble recovery. CMS ends the season with a 2-5 record.
