CMS falls to Piper

The Clark Middle School eighth-grade volleyball B team dropped a match to Piper, 25-13, 25-19, 15-2, on Sept. 3. Angelica Ahumada’s strong serve led to six points for Clark in game two, and Kristina Schwab had some solid passing in game three.
The Panthers then traveled to Lansing and put up a good fight before falling to the Lions, 25-5, 25-19, 15-7. Ne’Kye Sheppard’s serve kept the Panthers close in game two, but they were unable to pick up the victory.
Up next for the Panthers was a Sept. 10 doubleheader with Lexington Trails. CMS lost both matches.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
