Ag Hall kicks off Farm Tales

The National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame will kick off its 2010 Farm Tales series with “Barnyard Babies,” from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at the Ag Hall, 630 N. 126th St.
During the event, participants ages 5-10 will have the opportunity to meet farm animals, along with their 4-H owners, and learn about the 4-H Club, animal care, livestock judging and agricultural significance.
Admission is $4 per participant.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
