CMS 6th-graders teach geology to Kiwanis Club

The Edwardsville Kiwanis Club had a lesson about geology presented by sixth-grade students at Clark Middle School during its meeting last week at Sister’s Restaurant.
The students displayed a collection of fossils that came from sites around the Bonner Springs area. Students participating were: Taryn Remigio, Steven Hanks, Heidi Rodger and Quinn Bonge. They were accompanied by their teacher, Kim Nelson, and Steve Cook, principal.
In addition, tickets are now on sale for the club’s annual pancake breakfast, which will be from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, at the Bonner Springs High School cafeteria.
