City Band to perform 5th concert in summer series

The Bonner Springs City Band will present its fifth concert of the summer at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 8. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary will sponsor the ice cream social prior to the concert.

The program is as follows:

• “Star Spangled Banner”

• “Brighton Beach”

• “Trumpet Power”

• “March of Bacchus”

• “Centuria”

• “Zacatecas”

• “Night on Bald Mountain”

• “Mancini Magic”

• “Midway March”

• “Instant Concert”

Concerts are rain or shine. The indoor concert site is in the Bonner Springs High School cafeteria. The band rehearses at the high school from at 7 p.m. before the concert.
