Preview of Rennaissance Festival to last two nights

A sneak preview event for the Kansas City Renaissance Festival is being offered for two nights only.
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival performers will play host to The Feaste at Cinderella’s Ball Friday, July 23, and Saturday, July 24, at 1316 S. Osage, Independence, Mo.
The prince is seeking a wife and the party is full of hopeful young ladies, but only one girl will capture his highness’ heart. Losing her at midnight starts his quest to find a fit for the slipper that only she can wear.
Seating begins at 6:30 p.m. and each night there will be performances by Boleyn Kumpana, the Fairies of the Wildewood, Beer Side Scoundrels, Bob the Incredible Juggler, Jesters and other festival favorites.
The cost is $20 per person, which also includes one ticket to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival.

The Kansas City Renaissance Festival runs weekends, Labor Day and Columbus Day, Sept. 4 through Oct. 17, in Bonner Springs.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
