Bravettes fall to Shawnee Heights

The Bonner Springs girls basketball team's season came to an end with a 59-44 loss Thursday night at Shawnee Heights in the first round of the Class 5A substate tournament.
Heights (8-12) advances to play Lansing (19-2) in the substate finals. Lansing advanced by beating Topeka West, 59-32.
Bonner Springs ends its season with a 6-15 record.
