Kiwanis Club members get educated on Head Start

Jeannie VerBrugge explained the operation of the local Head Start program during the regular meeting of the Edwardsville Kiwanis Club last week at Sister’s Restaurant. VerBrugge discussed the history of the program and the scope of early learning opportunities available to participating children.
Tickets remain on sale for the Edwardsville Kiwanis Club pancake breakfast, which will be from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 20, at the Bonner Springs High School cafeteria. Tickets are available from any Kiwanian.
