Church plans shopping event

Elm Grove Baptist Church, 15774 Linwood Road, will offer a “Girls’ Night Out” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9.
The shopping event will feature several vendors, each offering a drawing for a free gift, and a concession stand. The shopping event is to be child-free, so childcare is available for $5 per child or $12 per family. The gym will have inflatables for older children and a quiet nursery will be available for younger children.
