Board sets public hearing for parking lot variance

Edwardsville’s Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled a public hearing for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Edwardsville City Hall, 690 S. Fourth St.
The hearing has been set to consider Kincaid Coach’s application for an appeal for variance on parking lot size and surface materials.
Kincaid Coach is at 9207 Woodend Road in Edwardsville.
During the hearing, the public is welcome to make comments or ask questions regarding Kincaid Coach’s application.

The postal service is cutting back hours at some rural post offices. How often do you go to the post office?
“For my own personal use, I only go a couple times a year to mail gifts, usually around Christmas and family birthdays. At that time I usually buy a couple books of stamps that last for most of the year! For professional use, I go a couple times a month to check our PO Box.”
