The USD 204 elementary schools all are preparing to have their Kindergarten Roundups and enrollment events next week for the 2012-13 school year.

Incoming kindergarteners must turn 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2012. Roundup and enrollment events give incoming students and their parents the chance to meet the kindergarten teachers, start filling our enrollment forms and learn about what kindergarten students do in class.

Bonner Springs Elementary’s event will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the school’s media center. For more information, call 441-1777.

Delaware Ridge Elementary’s enrollment night will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the school’s media center. Call 441-2126 for more information.

Edwardsville Elementary’s event will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, at the school’s cafeteria. For more information, call 422-4036.

The following will be needed to complete enrollment prior to Aug. 3:

• State-certified birth certificate

• Social security card

• Parents/guardian photo identification and custody papers if applicable

• Proof of residence, which can include a mortgage or lease agreement or utility bill that shows the physical address, but phone or cable bills are not accepted

• Immunization record

• Physical
