The Braves (2-2) were downed, 65-48, on Tuesday at Basehor-Linwood. Meanwhile, the Lions enter Friday's game 5-0 and considered by some to be a Class 5A championship contender this season.

BSHS senior Austen Twombley leads the Braves with 13.5 points per game through the team's first four games, and fellow senior Tyler Howell leads the team with eight rebounds per game.
