July 19, 2012
A Bonner Springs man has pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamines.
Robert Miller, 40, entered a guilty plea for one felony count of possession of methamphetamines and another for possession with the intent to sell, the District Attorney's office reported. Miller's sentencing was set for Aug. 22.
In May, police served a search warrant at Miller's home and recovered a significant amount of the narcotic. Miller was arrested for possession of meth with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school, as his house was a few blocks north of the Bonner Springs Head Start preschool. His bond was set at $25,000, and according to the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office, he never posted bail.
