Final clue revealed in Blarney Stone hunt

The Bonner Springs Parks and Recreation Department has offered the third and final clue in its annual contest to find a Blarney Stone in one of the city’s parks.

The clue to the identity of the park where the stone is hidden is: “If you are at the skate park in search of me, there is not where I’ll be. The name of the park makes the young at age, think of an animal in a cage.”

Clue No. 1 was: Spring is almost near, so this park will be filled with cheer!

Clue No. 2 was: In this park, there is water; you won’t see a caboose, but you are getting hotter.

Residents are challenged to determine which park the clues point toward and find the magical stone, which will reward the finder with a 10 Punch Pass for the Bonner Springs aquatic season. The stone must be returned to the Community Center located at 200 East Third St. for the finder to receive their reward.
