Hands-on investing course offered at KCKCC

Two five-week sessions on Hands-On Investing will be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College this spring.

The first session will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Mondays beginning March 26 and running through April 23; the second will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays beginning March 30 and running through April 27. Each of the sessions will be held in Room 3632 of the Flint Building on the KCKCC campus, 7250 State Ave.

Instructed by Scott Kaufmann, the class will provide a working understanding of the stock market, investment alternatives and how to invest for success. A certified Financial Advisor, Kaufmann will also guide participants through a series on investments that they select and track.

The cost for each session is $25 ($20 for Club 45 members). The Monday evening course is listed under Community Education/Finance; the Friday morning course under Club 45/Personal Growth.
