City’s spring clean-up approaches

The city of Bonner Springs will have its the Annual City Wide Spring Cleanup from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 14.
Volunteers will meet at 8:30 a.m. at the South Park Community Room and will be assigned to various areas of the city. Transportation to and from trash pick-up areas will be provided via the Tiblow Transit. The city will provide all supplies and volunteers are invited back to South Park for a picnic lunch at noon.
A dumpster will be located at Lions Park Saturday and Sunday for self drop-off of brush and tree limbs only, which must be placed inside the dumpster.
Anyone wishing to volunteer should register by calling Fern Massey at 913-667-1713 or stop by City Hall to sign up to ensure there is ample food and supplies for the event.
