Edwardsville seeks “Trunk or Treat” participants

The city of Edwardsville has announced its fourth annual community “Trunk or Treat” event, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, ad Edwardsville City Park.
Families are invited to hand out candy from their cars or simply from a designated spot in the park. Participants are encouraged to decorate their car or spot for the event. Advance registration is not required but is recommended in order to reserve the appropriate spot or amount of space.
The event will include free hayrides and concessions as well as candy. Last year's event brought an estimated 2,500 trick-or-treaters.
To host a trunk, contact Tammie Burgoon at 913-441-3707 ext. 10 or tburgoon@edwardsvilleks.org. Cash or candy donations can be mailed or dropped off at Edwardsville City Hall, 690 S Fourth St., PO Box 13738, Edwardsville, KS 66111.
