Bonner Springs man charged in Lowe’s shooting death
Wyandotte County District Attorney Jerome A. Gorman today announced that George Daniel Lingenfelser, 28, of Bonner Springs has been charged with first degree murder in the shooting death of Janet Billings.
Kansas City, Kan., police previously reported that a man had turned himself in after Billings, 29, was shot and killed Sunday in a Lowe's Home Improvement store parking lot in the 6900 block of State Avenue. Police said the suspect and Billings knew each other but didn't say how.
Lingenfelser is being held in the Wyandotte County Jail with a $750,000 bond.
