Downtown Bonner wine bar to close, allowing expansion of neighboring business
Bottle12 Wine Bar announced it will close this winter due to the expansion of the neighboring business in its building.
Bottle12, which opened six years ago at 109 Oak St., stated in its "Uncorked" newsletter, shared today via Facebook, that it has set Dec. 18 as its closing date. DeGoler Pharmacy moved its corporate headquarters into the neighboring space, 111 Oak St., a few years ago, and the newsletter said DeGoler's "success has created a need for them to occupy the space that Bottle12 currently resides in."
Glenn Harte, owner of DeGoler's, is a partner in Bottle12, the newsletter notes.
"We have decided that it is in everyone's best interest to begin the search for a new location for Bottle12," it states. "Our current license expires on Dec. 18, so we have decided that will be our last day at 109 Oak. We hope to open at a new location sometime in 2015 and will keep you posted on our progress."
The business will maintain its catering license so it can still host occasional special events at an offsite location.
"We have truly enjoyed our experience at 109 Oak," the newsletter states. "This quirky little wine bar has provided us with great times and helped develop lifelong relationships with so many of our wonderful customers."
