Bonner Springs boys pull out victory over Piper
The Bonner Springs boys basketball team pulled out a 56-45 home victory over Piper on Friday evening, improving to 11-5 overall and 6-4 in Kaw Valley League play.
The Braves were led by Aaron and DeVante McGee, who scored 19 and 16 points, respectively. Antonio Roark added nine points, and Brenden Dotson finished with six. J.J. Letcher scored a team-high 12 points for the Pirates.
Bonner Springs outscored Piper 20-11 in the fourth quarter to earn the victory. The Braves will be back in action at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday as they play host to Mill Valley.
