Annual Community Choice Challenge underway
Union Bank & Trust is once again offering a competition to benefit nonprofit organizations and the services they provide to Bonner Springs, Edwardsville and the surrounding communities through its Community Choice Challenge.
The online-voting challenge allows area residents to show their support by voting for their favorite charity at ubt.com/ccc. Votes can be made daily through the challenge's end. Union Bank & Trust staff, along with community leaders, identified the following 10 local non-profits for this year’s challenge: Bonner Springs-Edwardsville Education Foundation; Kaw Valley Young Life & Wyldlife; Bonner Springs Lions Club; Bonner Springs Arts Alliance; Edwardsville Kiwanis Club; Bonner Springs Family YMCA/Tween Center; Tiblow Transit; Bonner Animal Rescue; Vaughn-Trent Community Services; and Feed His Lambs.
On Nov. 14, Union Bank & Trust will issue grants to the three organizations receiving the most votes. First place will receive $5,000; second place $3,000; and third place $2,000.
