Linwood teens injured in K-32 car accident
Two teens from Linwood were injured in a two-car accident on Kansas Highway 32 in Leavenworth County this morning, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at 7:08 a.m. near the highway's intersection with 158th Street. A minivan driven by Elizabeth Stallbaumer, 15, was eastbound on K-32 when it attempted to make a left turn onto 158th Street. Stallbaumer's vehicle was struck by a westbound minivan driven by 46-year-old Mark Kreis of Shawnee.
Stallbaumer and her passenger, Graham Stallbaumer, 13, were transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Kreis was reported as having a possible injury but was not transported to a hospital.
All passengers reportedly were wearing their seat belts.
