A pot-luck dinner celebrating the life of Anna Pauline Robinson, 93, Lawrence, Kan., will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 6, at the Linwood Community Center, 300 Main, Linwood.
Mrs. Robinson died June 20, 2008, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Mildred, Kan.
She was born March 4, 1915, in Iola, Kan., the daughter of Charles E. and Wilma Dawn Moss Laymon.
Mrs. Robinson married Harry Smith on Aug. 3, 1932. He died March 15, 1951. She married Kenneth Stovall on April 17, 1952. He died Feb. 12, 1973. She later married Joel Robinson on Dec. 13, 1980 in Le Harpe, Kan. He died Aug. 31, 1989.
She was a licensed practical nurse at Lawrence Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She then worked for the Topeka State Hospital and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Leavenworth. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Iola, Kan., and the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Killeen, Texas.
Survivors include a son, Arley Smith, Linwood; a daughter, Winifred Hutchison, Springfield, Mo.; and 18 grandchildren.
A daughter, Carolyn Henderson, also died earlier.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or American Nurses Association, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
