Roy Lee (Buster) Greenwell 1932 - 2009
Linwood — Services for Roy Lee (Buster) Greenwell, 77, Linwood, will be 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Tonganoxie
Mr. Greenwell died Monday Nov. 16, 2009, at his home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1932, in Preston, Kan., the son of Walter and Alice (Reynolds) Greenwell. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a mechanic during the Korean War and was stationed in Alaska. He worked as a butcher for Greenwell Processed Meat Co., Tonganoxie.
Survivors include two brothers, Ernest Greenwell, Lawrence, and Bob Greenwell, Tonganoxie; two sisters, Elise Mitchell, Baldwin City, and Phyllis Thompson, Lee’s Summit, Mo.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at the funeral home.
