Ruth L. Brooks 1924 - 2010 Kansas City, Kan.

Services for Ruth L. Brooks, 85, Kansas City, Kan., were Saturday, Jan. 9, at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, Kansas City, Kan. Interment was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Brooks died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, at Providence Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Brown W. and Hester Ann (Smith) Moore.
Mrs. Brooks was a member of Victory Assembly of God, but she had previously been an active member of the Church of God of the Apostolic Faith.
A daughter, Carolyn Kay Parks, died earlier.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Fred A. Brooks, of the home; a daughter, Sondra Tramel, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Charlie Moore, Basehor; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
